Jason Holland was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois in 1971 and lived in south suburban Chicago until 1985. He then moved with his parents, Bill and Anita Holland, to Eddyville, Kentucky where he graduated from Lyon County High School in 1989. He attended Murray State University where he graduated with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice in 1994. While at MSU Holland served as Vice President and President of the MSU Student Law Association and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega social fraternity. In 1997 he earned his law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law, in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was also a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Holland was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 1998. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, both the Eastern and Western Districts of Federal Court in Kentucky and before the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jason Holland has dedicated his legal career to helping people with personal injuries, bankruptcy, criminal law, both as a defense lawyer and a prosecutor, and family law; however, he also has a wealth of experience in many other areas of the law. He served as an assistant Christian County Attorney and an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for eight (8) years. He served as the Attorney for the city of Oak Grove, Kentucky from 1998 – 2019. He has served as counsel for several local businesses including Heritage Bank, Pro Build, Lee Brick & Block, Crown Services, and Aventist Health Care, among others.
He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Association of Trial Lawyers and the Christian County Bar Association, where he served as President from 2007-2009.
Jason Holland lives in Hopkinsville with his wife, Heather, their daughter, Hannah Jane, bulldog, Payton, and Shih Tzu, Gabby. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching his beloved Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats, working out, and playing golf. He is a published novelist and is the author of the Mystery/Thriller “Honor Thy Father”, (Amber House Books, 2019). He is currently writing his next novel.
